Information from A to Z
Here you can find out about how we run things at Knebworth Pre-School. We need your help to keep this organisation running as smoothly as possible!
Ofsted rate childcare settings as either Outstanding, Good, Satisfactory or inadequate. Our last inspection was 20th October 2014. Overall, we were rated as Good with a number of areas rated as Outstanding. There were no areas rated satisfactory or inadequate
What is Ofsted?
Ofsted is the regulating body and our Pre-school is registered and inspected by them against the outcomes of Every Child Matters agenda.
If you would like a place for your child at our pre-school, please make an appointment and we'll gladly take the time to explain everything you need to know. You can make an appointment by phone or by using our contact form. We look forward to meeting you!
What happens if my child is ill?
It's unavoidable that small children catch all kinds of minor infections. For a speedy recovery and to prevent the other children from falling ill, children who are unwell must stay at home. Only when the fever has subsided for a whole day should you return your child to pre-school. If your child has had a sickness bug or diarrhoea we have a clear 48 hours exclusion policy this means the child should not return to pre-school until 48 hours have lapsed from the last "attack".
