What is Ofsted?

Ofsted is the regulating body and our Pre-school is registered and inspected by them against the outcomes of Every Child Matters agenda.

There is a 48 hour exclusion policy from Pre-school in cases of sickness/ diarrhoea from the last time occurred.

If a child is prescribed antibiotics, he or she must not attend Pre-school within 48 hours from starting medication,

This is in line with health guidelines.

If your child has received any medication before coming to Pre-school, a member of staff needs to be informed on arrival - the details should be recorded in the medical book and signed by a parent/ carer.
